judging from the age and pics I'd say no ... looks to be the clamp on 1 1/8th sort
£40 for a bike that you can cut your teeth restoring is money well spent in my book ... I did just the same with a Vertigo when I was starting out :)

Spend as little as you can :daumenhoch:
Get some primer and spray up the bars
forget the front brake
anything rusty will come up a treat in an oxalic or citric acid bath ( buy it off ebay )
Del is your man for decals ... they might not match exactly but who cares

have some fun with it Carl :)
here's the one I did ... sprayed stuff ... begged and scrounged parts ... learn't a lot!

The bike in your pics has a 1" threaded headset & quill stem setup, like an old school bike :daumenhoch:
