Coaster brake question

Reeeet guys, never had one ov these before, got a set of tuff1s with a coaster gonna put them on me DP, what do it attach the arm to the frame with

does it have to be tight or is it fixed loose.

sorry if this seems lame but ive never done one  :-\

If the frame has a coaster stay, you can bolt it straight to the frame, I'm guessing you don't so you could use a Dia Compe hinged seat post clamp and pack it out with electrical tape, inner tube or some other suitable packing.  I think that's what Billy did bitd, there was another thread about it very recently but the search tool drives me nuts so I haven't had a look for it  :-\

An alternative would be to make up a bracket using mild steel to loop over the frame chainstay and bolt to the coaster arm.  make sure you use something to protect the frame as it will dig in when you brake hard  :daumenhoch:

If the frames got a coster anchor then bolt it to that, if not then it needs to be clamped to the chainstays. They usually came with a strip of metal that bent around the chainstay, but you can also use a hinged seatpost clamp too, and it does help if it`s nice and tight  :daumenhoch:

there is an anchor bracket. so wot nuts and bolts do i need,
