The main problem was that he wouldn’t accept a PayPal payment, but has agreed to on this occasion to help me finish the bike. Happy as. Spoke to Dan last night and the frame is powdered, it looks beautiful. Props to SBD, the welds still look stunning and the finish looks the mutt’s nuts. Just got to wait for it to get back and then wait for the chainring and then it’s on the bench :slayer:
Next project will be the flo panel and some questions that have been baking my noodle this week.

Great news....common sense prevails at last :daumenhoch:

So, question time. At the time of the article in the magazine (84), RL was running Panaracer tyres and his build specs list the tyres as ‘National Tyres’. If you have access to a copy of Freestyle BMX v1 issue 2 - take a look. I’ll put up some pics but digital quality they are not. Now, he was touring with Mike and Mike’s bike spec lists his tyres as Comp Stadium. In the magazine pics it seems pretty clear that they are both using the same tyres and that RL is also using Comp Stadium tyres. Have at it.

One more of RL’s bike and then a closer image of Mike’s tyre.

National/ panaracer are /were the same company......probably just described differently in the one mag? The tyres you have look right to me... :-\
