Slowly getting there..
Update.
I given up looking for this blue 46t sugino chainwheel which is super rare due too it’s size..
I sought a chrome one from the USA so planning on using this .
I did purchase a NOS one , eBay bargain too (which was half the price I paid for the chrome one) but I haven’t got the heart to strip as it too nice and sacrilege being NOS plus , well over 35yrs part..
Going too use this anno paint again which I used on the wheels with great results.
Removed all the marks using the same procedures I did on the wheels.
Polished up the 46 tooth area.
Then lightly polished the main part on the buffer , then lightly used 1000 wet and dry as a key for the paint too attach too.
Then start to mask off the polished area.
My home made spray booth again..
A few light coats later..
Then in the oven pre heat too 180’ turn off..
( sorry cannot find the original pics but just done a Tuf Neck chainwheel and disc with great results)
And finally finished..
