are nack nacks still illegal

nac nacs are awesome, and always have been. they only got 'banned' after a famous bmxer who couldn't do them very well decided to bin them in a bmx magazine. nice pic dude.

I was just reading last months ride the other day and there is a picture of someone supposedly doing a tailwhip in a bowl ( cant remember who or where but its a close up of his back foot) and it looks like a reeeet good nac nac and it made me chuckle, due to the supposed ban.but anyway do whatever you want if you want bust one out do it. Its all about enjoying yourself if you ask me.

I think the main problem with nac nacs, when people used to do them, was that is was often racers in tight race pants. Its not the most flattering of outfit/trick combo!

It first started as a "can can" veriation, where you put your "off" foot behind your "on" foot instead of infront, making it a backwards can can (get it, nac nac). They evolved into really tweaking the back end forwards so the bike was almost going 180 with a big trailing back leg, and then pulling the bike back under you to land.

I think they are still very popular in Motocross jumping.
