Dia Comp front brake

(1/3) > >>

davidben:
I have tried to fit a Dia Comp Nippon front brake, but the quick release bit
dosen't hold the cable, any ideas or help will be great.

The back brake is fine but the front has a different bit.
The photo show the quick release system and the whole wher the cable threads through
but how does it stay there or create a tension?

adeshere:
It should would like the rear.

Are you trying to use it on the front with a pots mod ?

davidben:
I'm new to dia compe's the back looks like this, but the front is different

Rombloke:
thats because the one you have is a potts mod, designed for your cable to be threaded thru your stem bolt, through the steerer tube, and up from the bottom of the brake not the top
