pickle:
and always put the tyre in around the Valve first and work away from there.........if they're OS tyres they normally just fall onto the rims :-\ failing that........bin the fooking tyres and get other ones ;)
zed4130:
i put the inner tube in the tire slightly pumped,i use a tire lever with a ali tube on it ,and then put loads of washing up liquid on the rim :daumenhoch: slips on nice and snug :daumenhoch:
pickle:
Yeah good tip with the tube pumped up slightly.....keeps it from getting snagged as much :daumenhoch:

Owen,
I know what you mean about some are tough. I have had trouble removing some old tyres from wheels I have bought, like kenda or old carlisle tyres. Fitting grippa's comp 3 skinwalls etc no bother. Actually thinking about it the ones I have trouble with seem to be the black walls!!! ???
