THE OSSS07 ON TOUR
« on: June 29, 2007, 06:26 PM »
Me an 796 are going up there for the day, lets show some support for our mates up there, if it goes well perhaps a Midlands OSSS will be on the cards, heres Dingos post

Midlands os race and play day

July 15th at Nottinghams famous old school track.

its a great way to have a go on a track without the pressure of being in front of all your peers at MK

we will be holding an old school class and new/mid/cruiser run what brung class and also an under 14's class

we can even offer some track craft advice to those that need it  daumenhoch

can we please have names of who wants to attend and we will update this front page

track directions can be found here:- www.bulwelloutlaws.co.uk

Russ its not fair for this to be a wildcard as at least 3 riders will be away, its only fair. Maybe winter series we can chuck a wild card in :daumenhoch:

And on the same day as the Hersden round.

Hopefully though this can be the start of a Midlands Old School Series of races being formulated. It would be good to get some riders from the midlands and up north into the old school scene on a regular basis.

Just found this thread  :daumenhoch:
It would be great if people could make it up here, I am hoping this is the acorn that could grow into a series in its own right.

Pity this date doesn't tie up with a Regional event at Bulwell rather than one of their Summer Series events as this would have been a better incentive to get my boys on board for it.  It's a 160 mile journey each way so the lure of Hersden 'down the road' that day is greater I'm afraid.  It's great that some of the OSSS guys are prepared to travel for these events 'spreading the word' and I wish everyone good luck with it.  How many Midlands Old Skool riders are likely to be out to play that day??  Humps
