DC Tech 3 levers - Were they painted or anno?

Got a set of pink tech 3 levers but on close inspection they seem to be black underneath. Were the the black ones anno originally cause if so I want to get the paint stripper on them.

yes black are anno
and result if they are black
expect loads of pm's lol

Cheers Lazychubs! Well I couldn't wait and part stripped them today and unbelievably they were nos black levers before being painted pink. They had been very well painted as I thought it was their original finish till I scraped a little off. Anyhow, have tested on an old lever and the paint stripper doesn't seem to melt the nylon washers, so its all go tomorrow and I will have a nos black set, yeah! Well happy.  ;D

i wonder if they were factory painted

when the trend for flourocolours took off

if so i,m off to buy some very cheap pink tech 3,s ;D
