DC Tech 3 levers - Were they painted or anno?

I do wonder though if the lever part is painted... Probably totaly wrong but...
Ive had the other anno mounted area turn a bronze colour on me through age, while the lever part remained pure black. ??

Well now you mention it, like I said the finish was top notch. They had never been fitted or if so never tightened up or cables attached. Im up for buying another pink set now just to see if it was luck or are they all black underneath :shocked:
Should have kept this under my hat now, shouldn't I :LolLolLolLol:

Yea Owen, I have seen that colour change happen myself, strange??? Im not sure if it has something to do with the lever being a cast part and the rest being a folded piece? Who knows.........

I don't think they're factory painted, shades different to dia compe pink and the rivet's painted over - would be left a shiny finish if original. Oh well.......

Hi Mark, Yea noticed when I stripped them to black that the rivets were silver. Well you have saved a national shortage on pink levers there mate, :LolLolLolLol:
(I wonder if green ones were originally black, hmmmmmmm..........................lol)
