Tange 125 lp headset dont fit my skyway(yes it does see pics)

I had the same problem on my TA but i had one that was not so thick and used that.

I also had a nightmare getting the headset in. In the end i just went for it and it straightend out on the last couple of turns, complete nightmare though.

i remember having a nightmare getting headset cups into my Hitch, i took it to a bike shop in the end, they took ages to get them in properly,...aparently the headtube was oval ? so some edjat must have dropped It at some stage, it all went in in the end, and works perfecto !

Mine took some beating to get it in i just didnt try hard enough before in fear of stretching the headtube. as soon as i found out it should fit & the Ratty freezer trick come to light ( i would add that you should pick the parts up out the freezer with a tea towl tho horrible feeling when they stick fast to your hand like super glue  :2funny: I just got a peice of skirting board & a hammer & went for it trying to knock the high end down & it sorted its self out with no damage to anything chuffed  :daumenhoch:
