From what little i know......
Those will do nicely for standard 14g (2mm) diameter spokes.  The 194mm length of spoke and those 12mm nips would work for a SR/Suzue small flange hub and alloy rim (Pro Class/Araya/Ukai) combo.  I did a set recently.  You'll need to check the correct spoke lengths for other combo's (lacing a Bullseye would probably take a shorter spoke).
If you're looking to lace up a set of Z-Rims you'll need longer than 12mm Nips.  The Z-Rim is thicker than alloys so 16mm is the way to go, with a shorter spoke.  The 16mm anno nips are pretty hard to come by.  I've been looking for long red nips for ages now.  Haven't had a bite anywhere

There's also the lacing pattern to take into account.....3x, 4x, straight laced?  Sh*t, it's a real can of worms.
