we used to get the train to london, visit Alpine Action first. Then get the tube to waterloo and get another train to Surry skates ... oh surry BMX ... no, now its surry skates again. We would just look at stuff for an hour or so, and then get the train home.

I do remember when I went to surry BMX to get my Haro sport (84, torker made I think). This time we went to Apline Action on the way back and all the lads in there were checking out my new frame, testin the pencil thin back end for flex. I was only a skinny 14 year old. They could have just helped them selves to it and I could have done nothing about it! haha.



oh, back to the thread.... Ive just taken loads of shoe pics. I'll post them tomorrow.

bubbs went down to surrey skates for a gen 1 and came out with a vdc changa  :LolLolLolLol: always seemed ruff around alpine action but there stock was always pucka, i got some alpine stickers off of one of the guys that used to work there last year, but always remember big erol for giving you your weekly big slap just for going in his shop

Rowley XL III's, Old Skools, Era Navy & Yellow, Sk8-Hi Black, White and 80's print with pink soles :-*
Era Too White w/ Red Navy Check, Era Too Silver w/Silver Turquoise check (match my 06 Sport lovely), Old Skools again and Era Navy w/ Navy White check.

I used to get my Vans from Rom bitd, had a Green & Yellow pair then Red and Green and the last pair were baby blue and white check with baby pick and white check. Ahh the 80's ;D

I've been after a pair of the Sk8-Hi's in the 2 tone blue for ages but never find them in a size 9. I think I need some slip ons too.

Vans shop Bicester is normally good for hi tops!
