Old School or New School??
Trev:
Ok, question for ya. This has sort of been discussed on the TA thread but I wanted to add a bit more to it, so thought I'd give it it's own thread.
What makes a bike new school? The technology, or that it been made in this era?
i.e. if a Skyway Street Beat or Haro Master was reissued (not like the Sport with new school geometry) but exactly the same as the old models, would it be classed as new school?
Now to the 25th Anniversary TA. I hear that they are using original TA tubing remaining from the 80's. Now does this make the frame new school or old school? The welding will be new, but the tubes are 25 years old. If it is classed as new school because the welding is new, then does any old school bike thats be re-welded become new school?
SaMAlex:
"re issue"
Nothing New School about 1" threaded or even USA BB!
