I haven't got anyone to ride with.    No one up here is into BMX.

I only started to get into it 6 months ago.

I also live in the countryside. 

Digging a few ramps in the forest ain't a problem....But riding alone and injuring myself is.

BTW, I never ever just rolled off a ramp when I was a kid.

I used to get crazy height of a 1ft ramp

I always sprung of it like a salmon going up a waterfall.

Improves your timing no end when you don't have a natural kicker to get you airbourne.

This is old school BMX.

The dimensions of this ramp is near identical to all the portable ramps being sold BITD.

Good fun to have a little play and get some confidence
and we have all been there , riding again and the act of riding around getting a feel for the bike again is great

but remember that if your goal is to wizz round a track then be aware that riding has changed and tracks with it
landing back wheel first ,a given bitd is not so true now
and the way to ride has altered so much its almost like learning agin
i went through it and my goal of airing a quarter was realised before i fell and injured myself pretty bad
i have bottled it now,dont mind , i enjoy rolling around and riding the old school round london, rather than trying to master spines lol

I know what you mean about tracks.

Coppull BMX track didn't have 1 Tabletop.

All jumps were double variants with dips in the middle.

Even the step up to tabletop had a dip in between.

Not easy for a learner who just wants to get a little air to practice.

The 9-10 year old kids seemed to tackle them easily though.

Maybe I'm getting too old for this!!
