Excuse the ignorance, but what's the major advantage of the MX1000 over the MX901's? I got Blue NOS 901's for 45 quid, but any 1000's Ive seen have been anything up to 4 or 5 times that.

You need MX1000's for a rear brake on a looptail Ripper



and also if you've got any pre 85ish bike 901's wouldn't be era correct  :(

But they are nice looking  :)

arrived today spot on calipers are mint :) except for the quick release on front but that dont matter as its going on my master :) levers are very nice but just worn few scratches on the ends and where the brake cable goes in but i,m chuffed with them :) :) :) :)
