i was mid sandwich and thought , shall i number them ;D makes explaining much easier in the long run
you often dont know if your explaining to an engineer who just hasnt done it before or a granny whos never seen a spanner

***Im an engineer...just never done this before.
but thanks for all the help!!
perry:
i wrote it to go on the left ( 1piece style but i might be wrong :-\ ) its been a long time since i had my hands on that style of 3 piece
it would depend on the chainline
edit ; cool , as with most things in your line of work deduct and cancel out what seems wrong :)
perry:
after looking at the spindle closely it would seem as the chainring goes on like a 1 piece as i said as the thread for number 3 doesnt go to the end ( without the ring it might not tighten down against the edge )
are you studying engineering at the moment ? or about to . what course is it ?
oh and hello , welcome to the mad house :)
