How to remove anodising.......
jT Racing:
down the drain is not a problem, the more diluted it becomes the less harmful. No point dilly dallying around with the mix, make it as strong as possible so the bits fizz good when doing it. Takes literally seconds. They need a good rinse and a scrub afterwards and then they ae ready for polishing or painting. I'm doing a big load  next week, i'll make pics on how it goes as i do it.
oldschool rider:
Just thought I'd post some pics of my half hour of work today.
My bike at 3pm :
Chainring Removed :
Chairing after less than 1 min in Costic Soda :
I then was going to polish with Autosol then realised I had run out :tickedoff: so just a quick polish with some crap I had at home as I need my bike to go riding tomorrow.
My Bike at 3.30pm :
After I go riding I will buy some autosol remove it again and polish it to bling bling chrome to match my bling bling chrome FBR forks that stodgy posted today.

You can find an anodizing company and ask them to de-anodize whatever you have, I'm getting some rims done next week so will report.
