odyssey evolver problem
TEXASPETE:
Cheers for you’re help mate…
This is a real bummer..
I’ll have a look tonight… one side springs back its just on the other…. Hopefully a light sand will bring it good….. :( I got the evolver as a bit of a treat… i took of the original tektro… which did fit fine but the breaking wasn’t great.... better that it is now thought :( LOL :'(

thats what i had. if the sanding doesnt work, check the shape of the springs
wirewheel:
have you recently painted your frame?
make sure there's no paint on the bottom of the lugs. not the pillar, the part the brake sits on.
this screws your brakes as i learnt after a powder coat job once......... sand it off.
good luck WW
Dingobmxer:
I was just gonna say exactly what WW said, I built one of Andy's bikes and we had this problem, make sure there is no paint on any of the post and use a little grease on there
:) DINGO :)
oberonspacefruit:
i did all of the suggested things, and mine works like a railing in the spokes now....
