Well it looks like the rumours are true behind Subrosa doing a twin toptube frame...it looks pretty good from this angle IMO...perhaps Haro could learn a thing or two about re-creating a classic?

There is a pic of it on the back cover of the latest (?) Ride. Its someone doing a lookdown over a set of doubles. You cant see the double toptube much, all you can see is that the seat stays come next to the seat tube. Its quite cool that they aint even making a thing about it in that add, its just someone riding one.

What about if you cut the seat tube right down. Then you could put 2 handlebar pads on the twin tubes inseat of a seat. It would be like a pair of Skyway EZ bars with 2 bar pads on!

What are the avantages/disadvantages to a twin TT as opposed to a single TT?

I suppose standing on your TT is easier and it looks cool but are there any engineering reasons to it i.e Strength, rigidity etc, etc?

IMHO it makes it look like a FREESTYLE BIKE !!!! period !!!!!!

Don't know if it's got advantages/Disadavantages except framestands are easier

The fact that (almost) every Haro broke at the double top tube / seat tube plate gives you a good idea on that one

This frame looks like that joint is LOADS better than the old Haro double top tubes tho

Didnt they do that Bully bashguard frame as well?
Its cool that they seem to be making frames that THEY want to, rather than what might sell loads.

It's Fly that have the bashguard...and yep apparently Subrosa are going to build the Twin Toptube.

Gotta say, I'm not sure whether it will go ahead - I suppose it all depends on the testing - wether it breaks or not.

Who knows, but I suspect it would be popular with the old schoolers and kids who want somethine a little different.

Good on 'em for doing something different though.

Subrosa were doing a frame with bashguard built in, but can't find the pic now.

See, JT71 does know his stuff!

It wasnt a bolt on bashguard, it was a total replica of the bully design but smaller for a small chainring. The decals even had the rose and skul like the bully had.
