even if ya have to file the buggers down

:daumenhoch: That's what I was getting at, pads nearer the brake arms means adjusting cable to bring pads back to where they were will move the arms from the tyre, like it clears when you pull the lever.

I'm sure you've asked before about a 2.1 tyre on the rear of an LTF?

You're right a 2.1 tyre isnt much taller than a 1.95 but its fatter so you'll have clearance issues with the brake

I tried a KHE 2.1 tyre on the rear of both mine and my lads LTF's.... wouldnt clear the brake on either

Mine has 28/10 gearing, fly brake, regular chain

My lads 25/9 gearing, odyssey evolver brake, half link chain.... you'll more than likely need a half link if you go with 25/9 gearing

I tried smaller washers on the brake, it didnt work...  :(

The chainstays on an LTF are'nt wide enough apart at the brake mounts compared with other frames

Hope this helps...  :daumenhoch:

Cool you got it sorted, for now! A lot of frames seem to struggle to get anything over 1.95 in the back, but then again way back when anything over 1.75 used to give the same problems!
