today i have mostly been rit dyeing

ok chaps ,i'v seen rit dye mentioned on the american forums quit a lot
so thought i'd get some and give it go ,,,seems dylon is getting harder to find ,,so this could be the next step

picked up some white tuffs from paul (harorider) yesterday ,,and got on with the bleaching  :crazy2:

after the bleaching ,,the one on the left is the bleached one


then it was onto the dyeing ,,,got myself an old bin ,and placed it on one of those camping stoves ,,to keep the heat constant ...
the chain is part of the health and safety at work act 2009 dyeing tuffs at home safely chapter 1



check the steam constant heat (nice)


two hours later out it comes and time for wd40


and the end result ,,not bad me thinks



this result was acheived ,with one small packet of royal blue rit dye about an egg cup full ,,,they also do a liquid twice the strength

just the hubs to polish ,,job done
