I know people in the past people have had trouble using Dylon on Elina saddles,so in for a penny in for a pound. 
Started with this:

Then into the Rit potion,well pooping myself by then by the way!

Ended up with this 8),kept checking it and it was fully black after 5 minutes but left it in for 30 minutes to be safe,probably too long as it dyed the gold lettering slightly bronze,but still well pleased 8) cheer's for the tip the gay pensioner :daumenhoch:
