The quality went slightly downhill in my opinion when Redline started getting the frames made in Japan (from memory around 1983 I thinks)

Odd that as most people consider Jap made frames and forks to be far superior in terms of welding quality and finish than american built frames and forks bitd :-\
Cracking looking frame and fork set though, a good once over with a Meguiars clay bar and some Meguiars Scratch X and then some NXT polish and that will look fantastic :daumenhoch:

Was just comparing the welding on my US made Proline to my Jap made PL-20 Marty..... and the US welding is waaaaay better - really nice beading :daumenhoch:
