well for me it has to be kids thta have every top of the range part ,, but cant do anythink !

like the other week me and a few mates were at brentwood and some kid came along on a khe zenith ! ... and was just sitting there ... asked him why dont he ride and he said he cant do anythink ... not even ride over a box !

anyways what about you ?!

Aaaah pet hates, my favourite subject and i fancy a moan!

1. I fookin hate kids who don't show any respect for other riders.

2. Kids who feel compelled to show me they're twelve year old arse with comic book pants on, and now with matching seat for fook sake! Nice one éclat

3. Skateparks being built by total fookin nonse's who don't have a clue about layout

4. Council offering funding for parks and then halving the budget mid proposal

5. Riders not learning the basics first

6. People thinking that because they can do a couple of fashion tricks warrants a sponsorship

7. And the one fundamental thong that really fools me off with this sport is the thankless mistress this sport actually is, no matter how much you put in you'll never get the same in return from it. You'll only ever get anywhere in this sport is by hanging with the right crowd. I remember going to derby for one of they're jams, some lad did an awesome trick, so the photographer from ride went up to a 'pro' to do the same and he'd get the picture, to be met with the reply from the 'pro' I would but I can't do that trick. Did the photographer go up to the lad and get him to do it? Did he fook! That's the kind of shit stuff that happens in this sport. Pissed me right off.

8. The lack of street riding in modern day bmx, it's all frickin skateparks these days

9. Originality! Where the fook has that gone?

10. No decent bmx magazines

11. Jump tricks to the deck of a quarter because they're too pussy to do it over a jump box the the landing

12. Tw@ts pretending to have been 'there' when clearly they weren't and making themselves look knowledgeable with stolen material from previous threads and emails

fook it! ride for yourself, not the industry. It'll never pay you back

People have been doing that a while. I think Ally Witton got a cover shot doing a wall tap and he had his pocket gloves folded so it was giving "the finger". It was pretty funny.

as a kid setting up gyros was my pet hate. that and bearings with cages that turn to dust

im super chill now im older and about the only thing id let bug me would be the over branding of parts and the ocasional frayed cable that sticks in the end of your finger . lol

A big pet hate abbout BMX and me is I wish I'd been riding in the 90's and not had such a big break in riding

from late 81 to 87 ,,,,,Wilderness ,,,,,,,, feb 2006 to present

Another is now that, even without a decent slam ,, I can still hurt myself for weeks of pain,,,

alex get this mate, the last time we was at corby it didn't seem the same, it was full of

fashion kids but they didnt look so impressive, billy was riding the big 1/4 and jump box section

and seemed to blow them away and with his full face and not so tight jeans

I'm completely over everything that used to annoy me, These days my only true hate about bmx is my inability to do it.

It's still my life though, albeit in a very small way compared to some other riders.

same as me and i havent run a gyro since 93, just about to put one back on though

mine are

with buying parts

1.websites which dont tell u if the part u want is in stock or not
2.no free postage (except radbmx shop

) yet mtb shops seem to manage it

with riding

1.kids arses hanging out
2.rain rain rain

this is my biggest hate

people who sit/stand in the competely wrong place blocking ur run up or landing, i have now taken to just smashing into them

the amount of times i have had adults just walk in front of a bowl just as im about to jump out forcing me to brake/bail

even worse is when they let little kids no older than 2 run around the park climbing on bowls, ramps and genreally just getting in the way, im surprised none have been badly hurt yet

this happens all the time at southsea and really really really really really really gets my goat
