« on: November 28, 2009, 09:13 AM »
1. my bike has a us bb so if i kept the us bb in and took a crank from a bike that had a mid bb would the crank fit through the us bb?
2. My bike also has brake lugs, what brake do i need to fit them?
Thanks. :daumenhoch:

All a MID BB is, Is an Americam BB without the cups. So just swap the whole MID BB crank into the US cups

You`ll need a u-brake,loads available from any decent BMX shop. You`ll need to know the spindle size,ie a 19mm spindle will need a 19mm bottom bracket. Some Diamondback cranks have a 20mm spindle. Can you get the bearings with the DB crank and see if they fit into the cups one Profile bottom bracket?
