Buckled ACS Z-Rim
Kaner:
I recently bought these and 1 of them is badly buckled :(
This photo is taken when the rim is sat flat on a level table, the gap shows the deflection :(
Will the buckle come out when it is built up or do I need to try and straighten it first?
How the heck would I do straighten it too? :-\
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers Ben

Ben, I sold u this!
When you build it up it will come straight out, if this was steel or ally then you would have a problem. I can recommend this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Building-Bicycle-Wheels-Robert-Wright/dp/0890371067/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=12 BITD I used to build everyones wheels after getting this book when I was 13. Try and practise on an old or fooked wheel. Any probs PM me.

As Toys said, that will come straight out if built properly :daumenhoch:
Swivel:
Put them in the freezer :LolLolLolLol: :2funny:
(how many times have we heard that in the past....)
Peter J:
I've built up a few Z's and most of them have been like that if not worse, the spoke tension will true them up, no problem :daumenhoch:
After all the rims are only plastic...
