Break Machine Street Dance is on that site as well with some top moves and memorable retro Adidas tracksuits.

Personally BMX and Electro/Breakdance went hand in hand bitd (82-85) and I'll always have fond memories of both

1-10 were my favs + UK and Crucial 1, think they went sort of off after that. Personal favourite Electro 7 Egyptian Lover - Girls. All time fav tune from bitd Planet Rock (yessireee)

Aaaaah mega fond memories.

I downloaded Pumpkln and the Allstars from Limewire the other day. I think it was on electro 4, it might have been Electro 2. N-T-way, damn good tune.

Can't beat the Smurf though.

the smurf is a wicked track. it predates the electro series too (1982)

it was called "electro shock"- came out before electro 1

Not an easy task!!

I bought the triple box set of Beat Street, Break Dance and Break Dance 2 Electric Boogaloo before Xmas.

Beat Street is a great film. Got blinding tunes and dance offs.

Wild Style is another top o/s film but difficult to get hold of

Gotta agree with you jimwise68, Beat Street has the best overall vibe of the era and top tunes ie Arthur Bakers 'Breakers Revenge'.

In Breakdance the Movie did anyone spot the appearance of Jean Claude Van Damme (the Venice beach scene, he's in a black leotard kinda thing where Turbo and Ozone show Kelly how to dance near the start of the film)

I've put this in another post but does anyone recall a 1980s BMX show and the theme tune was West Street Mob 'Breakdance' I think the show had Andy Ruffell in it and was about freestyling.....it's bugging me what it was called
