Fat bugger tyres, what forks.
« on: March 16, 2012, 03:12 PM »
So despite having the dtt subrosa, i've ended up working on a new, new-school ride, using a skavenger bridge frame and some fly rims, thrown some demolition momentum tyres on them at 2.35" and they look like frigging motorbike tyres (i love it), but I'm now worried about clearance for forks, anyone got any recommendations for forks that won't rub?, the old WTP forks i had spare have about a nats pube of distance between rubber and metal!

They don't look all that big till you consider that the rims a double wall.

sweet ride bendy, might go with the fly agua's on source  ;)
so much for this build being a snotter that i wont mind grinding to death on unwaxed edges  :2funny:

Also either the left or right gyro adjuster needs a bit of a turn, looks like your gyro's doing some flapping!

That was put on by the previous owner and was a wonder that it stayed on for so long - was only on about 1/2 inch and was so dangerous - shoot the guy that sold it to them

it's now off and back to a single set up (well will be soon  ;D)

fork tube is short on these  ::)
