Author Topic: Been away from BMX a few years-where are the best NS Sale forums? (Read 1766 times)

Hey guys, just got back into BMX after a 3 year absence, I'm looking for a few parts, but all the forums I used to use like Bikeguide.org/BMX-Forum/Bmxtalk etc... now have little use and there is hardly ever anyone on there. Are there any new forums I don't know about? This one is great I know, but its more of an Oldskool forum and I'm still looking for a few cheap parts to complete a new setup.

look at proper rider owned BMX shops, they all have great sales and superb service.

Do not use faceless, souless places like winstanleys or Chainreaction. If you see a price somewhere then all of the above shops price match as well (as far as i know)

Thanks for the reply m8, yeah I always felt the same way about those shops, and always used the ones you mentioned. Ideally though, I'm looking for some cheaper secondhand parts or maybe trades, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere where this is possible anymore $:-\$

pinkbike is your best bet for 2nd hand new school parts

just make sure u check the seller out before u hand over your cash (i.e are they new or long term members, have they sold little or lots etc...)

also make sure you pay via normal paypal that way your covered as pinkbike has been known to have a scammer or 2

Thanks man, yeah, just been using Pinkbike, but even that is quite quiet tbh, gone are the days of the BMX forums booming, I remember a few years back, i'd have to bump my thread every 20 mins, as it would be on the 2nd page
