ok i built a similar bike last year but was never 100% happy with it as a true replica. there was a few of the components
that were close but not perfect and it was built on an 85 frame which tbh was wrong. so with the chance that eddie fiola
may actually be critiquing it himself at cleethorpes ride in the summer i thought i would start again and build it as close to
the original bike he rode on the Kellogg's tour in 84.

so i finally have all the parts ready to build now and i will be building it on christmas day because i have the aerospeeds as a christmas present

finally got it outside today in the daylight to take some photos of it built up.

the plan was to spend christmas day evening building it, which i started to do but when it came to fitting the
cranks i discovered that the spindle hadn't been threaded on one side in the factory

so i couldn't finish it

over the christmas period i raped a profile spindle from another build as a temporary fix, just so i could finish building.

anyway its just about finished now and as much as i can tell its the closest replica to the original that I've seen. unless someone knows different
