Subrosa DTT finished
« on: January 21, 2015, 01:19 PM »
Finally got around to finishing my new park bike (for when I'm allowed to ride again...)

Subrosa DTT, fit out with mainly Subrosa or Odyssey components.  Had one a few years ago and regretted selling, so got Ed's when he went flouro and gave my WTP to the lad (who uses it to ride through streams and fit a fooking light!)  :tickedoff:

Looking forward to riding it, especially as I can have a proper sit down due to the seatpost mod  :LolLolLolLol:

I agree Ben!  Still don't like having just the one.  How the fook do you amaze the kids with 'an endo' without a front brake?  :LolLolLolLol:

It looks really nice that mate !! I am currently re-vamping a colony ready for the ramp nights ... I like the metal sprocket / stem .. It breaks it up real nice ... Not a big fan of new school seats but I think it looks ok on there dude... Black and white is a killer combo .... Love the White walls and wanted some myself only to think they wouldn't suit my build ... And oh yes you defo still need a brake on there 4 shit ( not sure about 2)  !

I'm well aware of the age of the seat kids  ::)

Fitting a pivotal would kinda defeat the object of not wanting to be sat with my knees round my ears and the seatpost mod.  There aren't too many seats on the market today that aren't pivotal, and would suit, but I'll keep an eye out.  Oh, and it needs decent padding for my fat arse too  ;)

Cheers for the brake offer, I think I actually have one knocking about in the pile but I'll get back to you if I can't find it  :daumenhoch:

I have a Odyssey aitken railed seat, with the quilted top ala `oldschool', but deffo new, few of the suspects ride with them, google for a pic, or i'll post you one in facebook, can't be fagged with pic through photobucket anymore!!

Looks good though Mark, I love those seats, but does look a bit odd on the Subby in my opinion (which is usually shit anyway!!)

see you soon

How does it look in a heap on the floor Mark ???

Just that I think you and Ben will need stabilisers it's been so long since you rode...... :2funny:

(cue Ed cutting in about how I've missed the last two ramp nights blah blah blah.....)

Like it mate, like it a lot :coolsmiley:
Still limping......

Quite like those Mark, I might have a rethink. Plenty of time before it gets any use so it isn't a worry. I sold a mint black pivotal not long ago for next to nowt, always the way eh?

Spen lad! I'm sure it will look ace in a heap on the floor  ;) I'm gonna be polishing for a while when I get back on it. Summer I would think  :(

Nice bike Wini  :daumenhoch:

I don't like pivotal seats, they might be 'the future' but I don't like the silly orifice you get in the middle
