.... I'm going to ask again if anyone is interested in contributing to an MK zine.
This never got off the ground last year but I still think it would be fun and cool to have an old school style zine with news, interviews, MK stories, event timetables, pics etc

Would also make a nice momento of the weekend

it should be dead simple in theory, just send me anything interesting and I will compile and print them.
could possibly ask a small fee for them to go into the Rad pot?

I think it's a great idea Clint, we had been mulling this over again

Depending on timing / how much uptake you get, might be worth considering doing it just after MK16?
That way we could fill it with stories that will inevitably pop up

A post MK zine would certainly have more potential material but distribution would be an arse. I was thinking the zine could be picked up off JT's stall or from the d&d?

there should be more than enough material and anecdotes of previous MKs to get the ball rolling if people can make the small effort of submitting stuff.

As i said last year, this is a real community thing and cannot happen without radsters contributions.
Hopefully the recent interest in the site and community wellbeing will push this forward

I think it's a great idea...what about starting off with the beginnings of this place and how MK came about.

Maybe an A to Z of members that specialise on certain areas at the back that will be attending.

You could make it available electronically via a donation and have printed copies to purchase @ MK too

looking like it might stand a chance of happening this year .

I'm thinking of keeping the look pretty simple, just b&w and easily photocopied with maybe a coloured card front cover. The whole cut up and paste look that we all remember about these zines should make compiling stuff easier

I have pictures from almost every MK, starting with the first one in 06 - gives a good comparison from how it all started to the current 'mammoth event' that it is now. I don't use photobucket, but they are all on my FB page - if you want to have access to them, add me on FB and they are all in separate albums (moved altogether on the latest page). Think at MK14 I managed to get a pic of every person as they were leaving for the LakeRide, so a fair few to look through. Jo
