The only thing I've built this month are bridges with the wife after someone sent me condoms and sexlube in the post.
When I was born, the world was a far simpler place.
It was all just cops and robbers.
And BMX.

Fingers crossed I will get my pad set for my Hot Heart then I can enter that. However, I don't know if I can cope with another 'nil point/Eurovision stylee' humiliation!

Right then slaggggs..
We all cut our teeth on these.
This was the first bike which got me hooked back in 1982.
We all know they was shite with shocking frame geometry.
They did have some nice bits fitted as standard.
So here goes.

1982 MK1 Raleigh Ultra Burner
1) Super minty araya 7x rims ChengShin snakebelly Fat thin tyres
2) Suntour HF LF hubs.
3) Super minty Suntour stem.
4) Fully Refurbished alloy V Bars
5) Viscount nos grips.
6) Minty shimano date 1982 levers.
7) Minty Dia compe dated 1982 brakes.
8. Original Kashimax mx seat .
9) Sugino minty 1PC
10) All NOS Sugino spider , sugino chainring, sugino bolts.
11) Minty Surefoot 11 MP120 pedals.
12) Tange forks.
13) Pads set from firebird Steve.
14) Izumi gold chain

Gorgeous build Ady... Absolutely love it .... Gold/black is awesome  explosion
( even if I secretly would always choose the silver/blue or as my own personal favourite)
I love a good burner build  8)

Thank fook someone's laid down the gauntlet :teef:

Cheers Ady, it's no secret that I'm not a Burner fan but I can still appreciate the effort people put into a build  :4_17_5:

You get extra points from me for not following the burner herd and putting reflectors on for some weird reason  :daumenhoch:

Now we just need some more bikes in to get some sort of competition going!

Well there's a stand-out winner for me already......  ;D

I have a soft spot for a Mk1 Ultra i must admit. All the big kids around our way had them when i was still hulking around on my Grifter. Always wanted one (so hence was my first resto).

Top build   explosion

Funking in your space since 1984.

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

No idea Clint, but if it was up to me I'd be inclined to leave it a few more days to see if we can get any more entries in!
