For the first time in 3 years, am heading back over to the Motherland next month, so if I can sort myself out with a bike, I’m hoping to hit up a race track, pump track or skate park!! Ideally all three but perhaps more realistically, just one or two!

In between that and stuffing my face full of all the British food I can’t eat in Japan, I’m going to sort through my storage. This will include BMX parts and other stuff too. Regarding the former, I have various old school parts and magazines to sell. I may possibly bring over my '83 Laserlite as well but haven't yet decided if it's worth the hassle! I will try listing things on here first BUT my time is fairly limited, so will list things on ebay thereafter.

Non-BMX stuff will include boxes of car magazines including editions of Fast Car, Car and Car Conversions, Performance VW (I was mad into Golfs), Performance BMW and various rally car magazines. I also have lots of decent coffee table books (lots of car and motorsport ones) and a shedload of 1:43 scale die-cast models, especially Le Mans Group C race cars and rally cars from various eras but especially the 1980s/1990s. Continuing the car theme, I have some actual car parts including some Subaru WRX parts that I've bought but not used. The Scooby has gone, so the parts need to go too! Back to magazines, I have loads of Smash Hits music magazines from the 1980s. Going further back into my childhood, I have old Scalextric (track and cars from the 1970s) and I think some Hornby train stuff knocking around. I also have a box of Matchbox cars that I used to play with as a boy. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on the best way to sell this stuff then I'm all ears. I'm not looking for the best deal but do need to free up both space and cash. Thanks in advance!

You going to pay a visit to the Trident?.... you more than welcome to. Oh... any Japanese car mags and Real-x cars that happen to follow you over too! I really need to finally pay you for the Fuji speedway you sent me ages ago.

Thanks guys!! They bloody well better let me in since I’ve just gone to the expense of renewing my passport!!

Regarding magazines, do you have any requests? I don’t think I have any Real-X models in my stash but will be listing others I’ve picked up over here. And talking of Fuji Speedway, I’ll be heading there next weekend for the WEC race, so can check out the die-cast model stands there if you are after anything specific?!? I also have fat, glossy WEC race programs from previous years’ races that I no longer need. Lmk if you’re interested and I’ll bring some over as a souvenir!

You staying in Poole or elsewhere? Decided what your doing with the Speed Unlimited yet?

Have already got a 1:43 scale WEC Toyota put by for ya but will see if I can find something more old school!

Will be staying in Bucks for the most part, though will head down to Dorset for a week.

I've been procrastinating over the Speed Unlimited frame. I think I have one more old school build in me...but have been thinking that for the past 8 years!!

Have just posted some parts 4 sale btw!
