BOTY 2005 - Entries
« on: December 12, 2005, 06:27 PM »
Right here it is, a poll to see who`s bike is considered the best of 2005.

Rules:

1. Members can enter one bike only, either post a picture yourself with a parts breakdown and anything else you want to say about it, or send a pic to me, Orb or Dave and we`ll do it for ya.
2. There are 10 days to enter a bike, so you need to get in in before or on the 22nd December 2005.
3. Voting will then be allowed from the 23rd December untill the end of the year on the 31st December 2005.
4. The result will not be visable untill the 1st of January 2006.

There is no prize as such, but I should be able to knock up a certificate for the winner.

Please use this thread to post up the bikes only, comments can be posted in another thread if need be.

Good luck.

Billy

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

My 1981 Torker 26" Cruiser. I went nuts with this last and most cherished build. Almost all parts were NOS except for the cranks and frame/fork. Araya 7X, Bullseye Hubs, Comp III tires, Early profiles and spider, Izumi, MX-1000, Tange MX-5 Oakley .5's, PRodyne bars, Tuf Neck sq corner, DX seatpost with Black Kashimax leather aero saddle. Bike was ridden twice and was so smooth and handled so well I am crying while writing this!  :'(

The bars, seat, seat post, pads and stem have been sold. The rest is up for sale if interested: Please email me "DO NOT PM ME please"

The pic was from my online tribute mag "Bicycle Motocross Collector" Bob Osborn loved it..check it out on www.os-bmx.com/gallery/bicycle motocross collector.

My 1983 Maximum XL

A rebuild rather than restoration . Frame in original chrome (decals from Ray Beard, cheers man), reclaimed GT hubs, my original ESP, Renthal bar and post, 7B style weinmanns, Chrome MX900 brake.

Cheers

Andy
