I spoke to Mike a couple of months ago, for the first time in 20 years, when he was in Alans shop in Wigan and he said he was riding a new school bike now, we may see him at Bournemouth for the 25th Aniversary do at the end of the month. ;)
BuffaloUK:
I saw "Pike" a couple of years ago at an Old School Skate reunion.
I used to see him around with Andy Preston when I was going to BMX events way back in the day, then I got more into skating and Mike did too, he was a total ripper on a board as well as a bike and a really good bloke
ORANGEZIPPY:
getting back to the white and red quad, i remember it well also, again like both Daz and TheRuler, i had it on video and remember watching it over and over again, brothers in arms rings a bell, although that may have been on an old miami vice scene also ?
if you did get a copy, would love to see it again.
lastly, that video is one of the reasons my quad, is white and red !!
theRuler:
the saturday morning programme it was on. i swear it introduced by that loon david icke, in his pre-messiah days.
the music was a dire straights track off an album before brothers in arms.
anybody remember when dave breed and eddie fiola were on some daytime show, doing freestyle tricks to axel f?
they were riding into a circle (inside the studio) and doing a trick and riding out.
first time i saw someone do an infinity roll! fiola did his wheel dancing and lay down tricks.
i had that on video but i have no idea where it is now! it was around 85 sometime.
