Man good to see all the oldies here on this site. We just raced SA Champs at Lahee Park this last weekend. Rode in 30-39 Cruisers with Andrew Smale also from 80's and early 90's but he is still in nappies at 32 years so being at the higher age of class was hard to keep up. In 40 plus Cruisers we had Grant Dekker and Mark Roffey riding and Gary Neilsen watching. Another oldie watching was Warren Miller from early 90's and he is showing interest in coming back. Michael Fikkert not sure if you remember me but we rode together in the Defence Force team in 1990 while in Army when the team came out from Chile. Come on we need more of the old guys to come race again the Cruisers are getting noticed as races that cant be missed, exciting racing.

was around since 1978 cycle cross than bmx till 1987,the again1989 till1991,returned 2008 getting ready for worlds 2009,and next year 2010 in south africa.still ride for fun,and so does my son now.yes i was lucky to have raced during this time with some of the greatest bmx racers in south africa.some were even friends.lol
