Torker Fork/Headset problem
FuNMoNsTeR:
Thanks guys.... i have mailed the guy i got it from and asked him to look in the crown cone for the shim... He says its not there and that it was loose when he had it :( All this after being told by him that the headset fitted snugly and that he had no problems ::)
i am sure i have the words tawt elbillug tattooed on my forehead. I wondered why it said gullible twat when i looked in the mirror this morning ;D
I have found a solution....check this out :D
I have a NOS floor mop... old school stylie with the white wooly mop bit and the plate and ring that the wooden handle slots into. The ring is exactly the thickness i need and is almost the right diameter ;D It is split down one side anyway so i can open it up a few mm. I have hacked a ring off and put the mop back so the missus will never know
The Torker build goes on :2gunsfiring_v1:
Thanks again guys ;)
daz bmx it!:
Hey Andy, all them years watching Blue Peter were'nt wasted after all ;)

I had to file the ring down today...it took about 2 hours to get it right and fit....but the jobs a good un. Tighter than a virgin with her legs crossed :daumenhoch:
