I am not suggesting that once built it then retains its 'Nos'ness' .......... but if you wear gloves whilst holding the frame set (without building it up of course) - it remains NOS 8)
The key is, wearing gloves :coolsmiley:

not at all delray.
Keeping the oily residue that skin contains caused by over-active sebaceous glands off of an object (particularly chrome) that has spent 30 years safely wrapped is a sensible approach to take, thus keeping it NOS :)

Fook me - I handle Roman/Med coins, brooches etc every day without gloves. 30 year old chrome ain't gonna be affected by a bit of the old skin oil :LolLolLolLol:
Stellartois:
Danny.
But your coins and brooches are not NOS are they ???
I am guessing they are pretty used, albeit sometime ago :-\

Yeah - some of them are NOS and dropped :LolLolLolLol:
Same applies though - it's generally only bare metal (such as a sword blade etc) that'll suffer from skin oil - chromes generally thick enough to stop any nastiness :daumenhoch:

OCD NOS overdrive!!! :D
Could you get a couple of mill skimmed off the cups and race so you don't have to press them....?
