surely using wd40 to put your grips would make them slip off all the time...   ???

I've always used washing up water (same amount as you would put in a bowl to wash up in),  then exactly the same amount to take them off...

Wurth HSS 2000 to fit
Wurth 2040 and a thin screwdriver to remove

I used to use that all the time when I worked in the PCB industry. We would wait for one of the lads to go for a shit, allow him to get comfy, then flood the cubicle with it by tipping 5L under the bog door.  :D
