How do I get rid of that annoying white stuff!

Orb - I know what you mean, I just like that jet black look...and plus, I kind of already started...so, I now gotta finish!  :(

Biagio recommended just hot water and a nail brush and Fuzzynod goes for brake cleaner (they use it on drag racing tyres to remove residue without any detrement to the tyre)...so, I'm going try these first and will let you know how I get on for the 'record'!
