Hi,

It is like a wax and is used on many things, new cars, tyres etc etc.

The best thing is a degreaser, it is simple - put some in a small spray gun (like you use for flowers, windows etc), leave it for a few minutes and then wash it off. You could get it from the local valet company or maybe Halfords etc.
